And today, I’d like to introduce you to the amazing Dahlia Constantine.
Dahlia is a graduate of the Slim Chic & Savvy Class of December 2016.
She is currently a doctoral student in Curriculum and Teaching at Teachers College, Columbia University. Previously, she was a public school teacher for over a decade in New York, California and Virginia where she had the privilege of teaching students from all over the world. Having lived and attended schools on multiple continents, she loves exploring all the learning that communities offer outside of the classroom walls and the relationships between individuals and their communities. She lives in New York with her husband Justin, where they explore new neighborhoods every weekend and new cities and countries several times a year.

YES! So much I want to do but can't seem to get started. Can so relate to perfectionism roadblocks. Looking forward to the SCS course to help me get going!
I absolutely loved this interview, and I could relate so well. I'm in the third semester of my PhD after six years in mining and exploration. I’ve felt a little alone in my struggle with the new schedule especially this past summer. I’m glad to know I’m not alone in struggling with discipline without an external structure from a formal job. It is inspiring to hear how Dahlia overcame that issue. I have a question though. In setting up the non-negotiables are those separate from the top-3 priorities for the day (from the daily accountability)? I know this seems like a question of semantics, but I’d love to hear more about how other graduate students, who returned to school from a prior career path, structure their day and priorities. I’ve also loved seeing the variety of women that enroll in SCS through all of these interviews! Thank you Tonya for the work you put out into the world 🙂
